MEng Info Session

MEng Info Session.

Monday, February 27th 5:00pm-6:00pm, BA1160

Thinking about grad school?  Not an engineer, but you have a background in math or science or perhaps social science, and an interest in applying your knowledge and skills to producing creative solutions to real world problems?

You might consider a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree from the University of Toronto.  You’ll take advanced technical courses, and be able to choose from a variety of specializations that take you well beyond what you learned as an undergraduate. Plus, we offer a professional development curriculum you won’t get from any other school.  We provide a depth and breadth of education that might open new career possibilities.

While our students are primarily engineers, each year we offer admission to a few students from other disciplines, and they’ve been very successful.  We’d like to make more non-engineers aware that pursuing a MEng is a possibility.

Please join us for an orientation session!  The event will begin with an overview presentation on the MEng, the technical course options available to students in the different departments, and discuss complementary courses and certificates in areas such as Entrepreneurship, Leadership, Innovation, Finance and Business.  Following the presentation, representatives from the departments and institutes will be on hand in the Bahen Centre Atrium to provide you discipline-specific information, and answer your questions.

Pizza and pop will be served.
