A mother of a 5 and a half year-old boy with moderate ASD but no behavioral issues is looking for a student volunteer therapist to practice IBI and ABA interventions with her son one-on-one, once per week for 2-3h. She is located on the University subway line and therapy sessions will take place in her home.
Qualifications:
- Currently in undergraduate or graduate studies in a relevant field
- Available once per week, including through the summer
- Experience with children is an asset
- Highly motivated
Types of Responsibilities:
- Play therapy
- Help with homework
- Speech/pronunciation
- Fine motor skills coordination
