Masters Program at Knox College

MPS degree with focus in Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy is a Master’s program that integrate spirituality and psychotherapy. This comprehensive program offers over 400 classroom hours in the theory and practice of psychotherapy along with Practicum courses with at least 240 hours of direct client contact hours. Students will take seven basic theological courses as well. Upon graduation, students will meet the entry-to-practice competencies of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and the Canadian Association for Spiritual Care (CASC).

The goal of the program is to create a generation of therapists who are psychologically and spiritually literate; who support clients according to their own worldview/belief system utilizing spiritually-integrated psychotherapy.
