Emotion Detection Volunteer Research Assistant!

Kang Lee’s Development Lab is looking for motivated individuals to join our team!

You will be involved in a series of studies examining emotion detection. We will be examining the ways in which changes in facial blood flow contributes to the detection of emotions. You will be involved in recruiting participants, running the experiments, coding data, preparing stimuli, and recording the results. You will also participate in training sessions to acquire the necessary skills for the current project.

Requirements:

  • Be punctual
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal) skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Strong computer and technical skills is an asset.
  • Some evenings and weekends are required.

Study work and scheduling will be communicated via the lead researcher on this project. All lab communication (i.e. lab meetings) will be done through the lead researcher and lab manager. Our lab provides a very friendly atmosphere where teamwork is a priority. As such, we all work together to help our students excel both within the lab and in their personal career/education goals

Hours Per Week: 1-10
Schedule: Mainly Evening and Weekends
