Vision and Cognition Conference (CASA)

The Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence Students’ Association (CASA) is pleased to announce the 9th iteration of the University of Toronto Interdisciplinary Symposium on the Mind (UTism).

The theme of this year’s conference is Vision, addressing the question, How does vision affect cognition? On February 1-2, 2020, this idea will be explored from an interdisciplinary perspective. Specifically, speakers from local and international universities will be discussing groundbreaking research on vision from multiple academic disciplines (psychology, computer vision, philosophy, etc.). All interested in vision and the interdisciplinary study of cognitive science are welcome!

Tickets are $10 for students, $20 for non-students.
