Part-time bilingual (Mandarin/Cantonese) student
A part-time bilingual (Mandarin/Cantonese) student is required to assist with telephone/in-person patient recruitment for a research study in Toronto/Markham area.
Job responsibilities: Patient recruitment/enrollment (telephone/in-person contact), consent participants, conduct follow-ups and organization of virtual focus groups.
Hours: estimated 2-6/week (some flexibility; negotiable)
Pay: $15.90/hr
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate student at University of Toronto with background in health sciences (i.e., psychology, nursing, social work, rehabilitation) and in good academic standing (GPA>3.8). Please provide most recent academic transcript upon request.
- Able to speak English and Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese preferably).
- Strong organizational and communication (verbal and writing) skills.
- Willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Able to work independently.
- Proficiency in computer MS applications.
