The Centre for Mind and Morality, under the direction of Dr. Paul Bloom, at the University of Toronto St. George is seeking 1-2 undergraduate research assistant volunteers for the Winter 2022 semester. This role will be to assist with an ongoing project about how children’s diet choices relate to different personality and cognitive traits and moral decisions. The role will be to primarily assist with recruiting child participants who identify as vegetarian using online sources (e.g., social media). Other tasks may include, but are not limited to: creating new recruitment materials, emailing and communicating with parents and families, running child participants ages 8 – 11 via Zoom, and coding participant video responses. Undergraduate students at any level are encouraged to apply. Previous experience working with children, families, and/or in a developmental research lab is preferable, but not required. All research tasks will be conducted virtually at this time.
