Psychology Participation Opportunity!

The Voice and Resonance Lab is looking for individuals between 18 – 35 to participate in an 45-minute experiment looking at the influence of voice focus on oral-nasal balance in singing. Investigators are looking for: non-singers and untrained singers. Participants will be reimbursed $15 for their participation (see posters below). Two upper year students in a research course are conducting a study entitled “LGBTQ+ Students -Navigating Identity through Mobility.” The intention of this study is to understand the ways that the identity of being an international student can potentially discourage or encourage oneself from ‘coming out’. Survey Participants Needed!

Sexual violence is an epidemic on UofT campus. Silence is Violence, a grassroots, anti-sexual violence collective at the University of Toronto, is calling for students to complete a survey on sexual violence on campus.  Students in all programs are encouraged to do the survey, whether or not they identify as survivors of sexual violence. This is the first survey of its kind to be conducted at UofT that seeks to understand students’ perspectives about sexual violence on campus. Study Recruitment

The PEARL Lab at OISE is recruiting participants between the ages of 18 and 22 for a research study on the relationship between young adults and their parents, and the impact of this relationship on risk behaviours, wellness behaviours and well-being. You must be in contact with a parent for at least 10 hours a month (including text, phone, email) and be willing to have said parent participate. The study involves you filling out one baseline survey and then completing 30 days of short surveys from home, using an app that you download on your smartphone. We will ask you […]
