In early December, Dr. Daisy Singla and her team were awarded a $12.7 million USD grant (https://www.pcori.org/…/scaling-psychological-treatments-pe…) from the US-based funder, Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI). Over the next 6-7 months the Research Area of the Psychiatry Dept. at Sinai Health System will be preparing for the advent of this grant.
We are looking for one paid research assistant to help facilitate this process and assist with the following tasks: assisting with the preparation of a Clinical Trials Ontario application; the negotiation of seven separate subcontracts and Data Transfer Agreements, as well as many other preparatory tasks (e.g., administrative duties related to hiring ~20 research staff, preparation of timelines, written correspondence, reports and presentations, monitoring and maintaining deadlines and schedules, general office duties, etc). Previous experience with grant administration is desirable.
This is an excellent learning opportunity to work in a fast pace environment with a group of world renown researchers. The position is particularly relevant if you are an imminent or recent graduate of a relevant program with an interest in health care systems, mental health and clinical psychology.
