Volunteer Opportunity for Undergraduate Students

VOLUNTEER RESEARCH ASSISTANT POSITION:
PSYCHOSOCIAL ALCOHOL AND SUBSTANCE USE STUDIES (CAMH)

We are currently seeking volunteers who are interested in assisting with psychosocial studies of alcohol and cannabis use being conducted by researchers at Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH). Our current projects focus on predictors and outcomes of alcohol and cannabis use among young adults in the community and include laboratory-based assessments of cognitive processes as well as smartphone-based assessments of alcohol and cannabis use behavior. Responsibilities will include assisting with participant recruitment, data collection, data entry, and literature searches. Volunteers will receive training/supervision and will gain experience in research in the field of addictive behaviours. This position is located at 33 Russell Street (CAMH) and requires a commitment of 8 hours per week for one year. Preference will be given to volunteers with previous research experience.
