Looking for a volunteer research assistant! Jenn Barnes, a UofT alumni and a Ph.D. candidate in Clinical Psychology is conducting her dissertation research on the relationship between maternal trauma and child attachment/behaviours in a refugee population. She is based in Ottawa but is collecting data from families in Ottawa, Montreal, and Toronto.  Currently, she is looking for a volunteer research assistant to help collect data from families in Toronto. Volunteer Opportunity!

Spirit of Life, a non-profit organization in Toronto focuses on providing services for children with developmental disabilities. They’re looking for volunteers to help out with some of their programs in 2019 (e.g., baking class, social skills group, etc). The location is in Markham / North York area and depending on the program, and they’re looking for volunteers to commit for about 2 to 3 hours per week, though the timing is flexible. Ryan Lab is seeking volunteer research assistants to assist with participant recruitment, testing participants (younger and older adults) and data management. Will gain experience using eye-tracking technology and administering cognitive assessments. Please note that the position will be at the Rotman Research Institute at Baycrest Hospital (3560 Bathurst St).
