The emotions and learning optimization lab is seeking a volunteer research assistant for the summer of 2019.

A time commitment of 6-10 hours per week is required. The successful applicant will be working on a project investigating emotions and self-regulated learning strategies used during a reading task. Must have an interest in developmental psychology, cognitive psychology, emotion and cognitive development, education and learning. Interest in technology-based learning environments and human-computer interactions would be an asset. Training will be provided in the use of emotion-expression coding software, data coding and mining, and basic data analysis.
