Volunteer Research Assistant Opportunity Lab: Ryan Lab Website: http://research.baycrest.org/jryan Description: Ryan Lab is seeking volunteer research assistants to assist with participant recruitment, testing participants (younger and older adults) and data management. Will gain experience using eyetracking technology and administering cognitive assessments. Please note that the position will be at the Rotman Research Institute at Baycrest Hospital (3560 Bathurst St). Requirements: Student in 2nd year or higher with a strong academic background and a passion for psychology. Research experience an asset. 10 hr/ week minimum time commitment. You will be involved in a series of studies examining the development of face processing from infancy to adulthood. Using eye-tracking technology, we examine the ways in which infants, children, and adults examine and recognize faces and what factors (e.g., experience) influence such face processing abilities. The PEARL Lab at OISE is recruiting participants between the ages of 18 and 22 for a research study on the relationship between young adults and their parents, and the impact of this relationship on risk behaviours, wellness behaviours and well-being.
