Spirit of Life, a non-profit organization in Toronto focuses on providing services for children with developmental disabilities. They’re looking for volunteers to help out with some of their programs in 2019 (e.g., baking class, social skills group, etc). The location is in Markham / North York area and depending on the program, and they’re looking for volunteers to commit for about 2 to 3 hours per week, though the timing is flexible. Seeking Volunteer Research Assistants

Ryan Lab is seeking volunteer research assistants to assist with participant recruitment, testing participants (younger and older adults) and data management. Will gain experience using eye-tracking technology and administering cognitive assessments. Please note that the position will be at the Rotman Research Institute at Baycrest Hospital (3560 Bathurst St). Requirements: Student in 2nd year or higher with a strong academic background and a passion for psychology. Research experience an asset, but not required. 10 hr/ week minimum time commitment. Researchers here at the University of Toronto are conducting a research study to better understand student and staff perceptions about student mental health, as well the mental health resources available and needed for students and staff in the university setting.
