Hi everyone! I’m recruiting participants for an fMRI study at ToNI (near the Sidney Smith at St. George)! To participate this study, you should be: – healthy adults (19-35 years old) – no claustrophobia – normal color vision and normal hearing – correct vision (without or with glasses/contacts) – no sign of neurologic or psychological disease – right-handedness It’s a two-session MRI study, one for 1.5 hours scan and the other for one hour scan following a 15min behavioral test. A key part is making connections between pain, trauma psychosis powerlessness and disconnectedness we can experience when we find ourselves feared and discarded by society. This edition will have a special focus on supporting those who struggle with such experiences and who also struggle with homelessness. Participants needed for Navigation Experiment

The Ryan Lab at Baycrest Hospital is looking for young adults for a navigation experiment. Eligible participants will be between the ages of 18-30, have no history of neurological/psychological conditions, and be fluent English speakers. The experiment would take approximately 2 hours in total, including breaks. You will have to imagine yourself navigating between two Toronto landmarks which will be given to you. Simultaneously, youwill have to engage in a specified eye-movement while wearing an eye-tracker. You will need to be familiar with Downtown Toronto in order to be eligible for this study.
