Volunteer Research Participation

We are looking for volunteers to take part in a study looking at how sleep impacts the recall of episodic memory (personal past events). Participants would do a short tour of Baycrest Hospital, then answer questions about the tour. Some participants would sleep overnight at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in a sleep lab while others would stay awake during the rest of the day followed by brief online memory tests. The emotions and learning optimization lab is seeking a volunteer research assistant for the summer of 2019. https://www.oise.utoronto.ca/ewoodrufflab/ A time commitment of 6-10 hours per week is required. The successful applicant will be working on a project investigating emotions and self-regulated learning strategies used during a reading task. Must have an interest in developmental psychology, cognitive psychology, emotion and cognitive development, education and learning. Interest in technology-based learning environments and human-computer interactions would be an asset.
